How to Swap

A step-by-step guide for all users.

Set up Coin98 Multi-Chain Wallet

At the moment, users can connect to Baryon Network via Coin98.

How to download Coin98 Extension

Coin98 Extension is now supported on Google Chrome. If you are a new user, you could install Extension directly on your computer:

Create a Multi-Chain Wallet

Because BaryonSwap is an AMM on Multi-Chain, you must own a Multi-Chain Wallet to use the platform.

After Coin98 is downloaded or updated, you can follow the instructions below to create a Multi-Chain Wallet or restore wallets from other platforms to Coin98 Wallet:

Appropriate gas fee for each network

Baryon uses gas fees in the form of tokens specific to each network, so you have to have the tokens corresponding to the network in order to make transactions on Baryon.

Now everything is ready, letโ€™s start!

How to swap

Step 1: Access BaryonSwap: https://www.baryon.network/swap

Choose Connect Wallet at the top right corner โ†’ choose Coin98 from the wallet list.

Coin98 Extension will automatically connect to the corresponding Multi-Chain Wallet.

Step 2: Select the token you want to trade from the list. Adjust the amount you would like to trade. Choose Approve C98 (for the first time).

In this tutorial, the C98 - INS pair will be used for example.

The system will ask users to pay a network fee to approve the token. Users need to prepare enough fees for this step.

Note: You can adjust the slippage tolerance level by clicking the gear symbol in the upper right corner of the screen. In this case, the default Slippage is set at 0.5%

Step 4: After approving successfully, click Swap, then choose Confirm.

  • You need to carefully read the information displayed before trading such as the amount that you expect to receive, price impact (the difference between the market price and the estimated price provided by BaryonSwap).

Step 5: Wait a few minutes for the system to process. After processing successfully, the system will display a notification.

You can view all information about the transaction by clicking โ€œView Transactionโ€.
